Ottinger wins big at Southern nationals

On a night that had action on and off the track, Ottinger was able to keep his focus and hit all his marks to hold off track champion Ronnie klys and more in route to a big payday.

not only was he able to get the job done once but he went back for more in the blue oval shootout and took an extra $2,000 dollar payday. After feature number #2 and ottinger colleted his first check, his name was thrown into a 10 team redraw for the Shootout lineup and what his team was lacking during the middle of the year was exactly what the doctor order for this team, a stroke of no bad luck! he pulled the number 1 pill and was able to start out front and lead all 10 laps.

ty was able to hold off a late charge from another feature winner of that night, Daniel Starner. Starner didn’t have the same luck in the redarw and while he pulled the number 8 pill he shot up the running order and caught ty with about 3 to go and kudos to Daniel for keeping the racing clean. he had mutltiple chances to ship the 77 and he didn’t.

10 laps was the perfect distance and it was a perfect night for the ottinger bunch. it was a great way to cap off the season at All-tech raceway.
